The police in New South Wales are currently investigating an alleged incident involving pop icon Taylor Swift’s father. A paparazzo photographer named Ben McDonald claims that Scott Swift assaulted him in Australia, punching him in the face. This is the first time McDonald has been physically attacked in his 23-year career.
According to the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC), McDonald reported the incident to the police, stating that he was assaulted by Swift at Neutral Bay Wharf in Sydney. The authorities confirmed that they are looking into an alleged assault by an unnamed 71-year-old man.
Scott Swift is the father of Taylor Swift, one of the most successful music artists in history. She recently concluded her Australian tour with a spectacular show at Sydney’s Accor Stadium, performing for 81,000 fans. Swift is scheduled to perform in Singapore and has six shows lined up in the city-state.
