Navalny’s Mother Appeals to Putin for the Return of Her Son’s Body: ‘Let me finally see my son’

The Kremlin has dismissed Yulia Navalnaya’s accusations that Alexey Navalny was poisoned by a nerve agent as “unfounded and vulgar”. Navalny’s mother, Lyudmila Navalnaya, has called on President Vladimir Putin to release her son’s body so that she can give him a proper burial.

Speaking in a video message, Navalnaya addressed Putin directly, pleading with him to allow her to see her son one last time. She expressed her frustration at not knowing the whereabouts of his body and demanded that it be released immediately.

Meanwhile, the Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov responded to Yulia Navalnaya’s claims by calling them “unfounded and vulgar”. He declined further comment, citing the recent loss experienced by Navalnaya.

Navalnaya also called on the European Union not to recognize the upcoming presidential election results, arguing that a president responsible for assassinating his political opponent cannot be considered legitimate. In response, Peskov rejected the EU’s call for an international investigation into Navalny’s death, stating that such demands are not accepted in general.

As the tensions between Moscow and the West continue to rise, Russian authorities have maintained that Navalny’s death was not caused by any foul play. Despite the calls for investigation and the mourning events for Navalny, the Kremlin has stood firm on its position.
